Lamisil Cream is used to treat fungal infections of the skin including contact dermatitis, alopecia, eczema, and psoriasis. Lamisil Cream can also be used for the treatment of athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm. Lamisil is an antifungal, which means it can cure many different types of fungi and yeast infections.
It is essential to know that Lamisil Cream is not safe for use if you have jock itch, ringworm, or athlete's foot with tinea-findings or tinea corporis. Before taking Lamisil, tell your doctor if you have a history of ranns or jock itch. Lamisil can make your skin sensitive to sunlight. Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any other medicines, including amiloride (Amaryl), ator on, amoxycillin (Macrogol, or SMC), cimetidine (Tagamet), duloxetine (Duloxet, D50), eloxifromycin (Lemofix, Wymace), miconazole (Micon, Wymace), and miln fentanyl, ketoconazole (Nizoral), and to the like. This is not a complete list of medicines which may interact with Lamisil. Before you begin taking Lamisil, talk to your doctor before taking this medicine if you have any of the following medical conditions: abnormal liver function tests (such as liver enzyme tests), or if you have had liver problems due to other diseases. Before you start taking Lamisil, tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. Lamisil can make you more sensitive to sunlight. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant or are breast-feeding. Using Lamisil at the same time each day may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Tell your doctor if you are using an antifungal medication, including erythromycin (E. E. S., E-Mycin, Erythrocin), clarithromycin (Biaxin), telithromycin (Ketek), and the like. This may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. If you are taking digoxin (D-Searchum) for heartburn, tell your doctor before taking this medicine. Lamisil can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Tell your doctor if you are using any of the following medicine: cimetidine (Tagamet), duloxetine (Duloxet, D50), eloxifromycin (Lovenox), miln fentanyl, ketoconazole (Nizoral), and the like. If you are using this medicine at the same time each day, Lamisil Cream may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. - Use Lamisil Cream to treat Athlete’s foot. It can be applied to athletes foot only. - When using Lamisil Cream, use the nozzle to supply a tube and carefully tug on the tube. Common: diarrhea, abdominal pain, fever, increased bowel movements, flatulence (2), nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, dark urine, abdominal pain, fever, fever and jaundice (ß) or yellowing of skin or eyes (2).
